About Me

A Life of Compassion

Guiding others through grief became my calling the moment I realized how much comfort comes from being fully present with those in pain. My early years as a pastor taught me the importance of simply showing up, and my time in hospice deepened this commitment, revealing just how layered and personal the grieving process is. Over more than 30 years, I have leaned on both spiritual insight and tangible practice to help others find hope. My sculpture work, hand-shaped from raw clay, reflects what I've witnessed - hearts reshaped by loss but never beyond healing. Every book, piece of art, and resource I offer is rooted in real experience and empathy. If you are searching for a steady hand or words to help you carry your grief, you are welcome here, just as you are.

My Story

My path into grief support was shaped by years spent as a Baptist minister, where I found myself drawn to those navigating deep loss. In sitting with people during their hardest times, I discovered how powerful and healing being truly present can be. Later, working in hospice care, I learned even more about the complex emotions and challenges that come with grieving. The tools and insights I now share were not only learned in books or classrooms, but forged through decades of walking beside real people through their pain. My approach is grounded in faith, honesty, and lived experience - offering a place where your feelings are met with compassion and understanding. This work is about more than just coping - it's about finding meaning and new strength when life is changed by loss.
